The USPCA is Uganda’s only companion animal shelter, home to more than 200 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens looking for their forever homes.
Founded in 1996 to promote animal welfare and support animals who cannot support themselves, the USPCA has served countless communities. Efforts and programs have ranged from short- and long-term community clinics and in-school humane education to livestock transport checks and responding to reports of animal neglect and abuse.
The USPCA is entirely donor funded. Financially, we rely on the support of generous individuals, corporate donors, and animal welfare grants in-country and internationally. To read more about how you can help, click here.
